30 days and counting!

One month from this very moment I will be on an airplane, flying to South Carolina for Spring Break. For those of you who don’t already know, I got a plane ticket to their Christmas from my parents. I can’t wait to see my Aunt Kristina and my three little girls, Lily, Marielle, and Paisley. Tomorrow is Lily’s 4th birthday! I can’t believe that four years have passed since she was born. I feel like it was yesterday that I went to the hospital to hold that adorable little girl. My mom, Grandma, and Edward are in South Carolina right now visiting for a couple weeks. My mom told me that Lily is acting so grown up. I can’t wait to hold little Paisley again and to snuggle with Marielle aka Sissy and her many stuffed animal frogs.
This semester is going very smoothly so far. The busyness starts this week. I have a Spanish test, Bible test on the book of Romans, and a paper, a presentation, and a paper topic due in Cross-Cultural Communications. I luckily am not feeling too overwhelmed with it….yet. Last week was a little stressful when both my iPod and my laptop charger broke. My dad was very gracious and rush delivered a power cord to me. It’s only been a week since my iPod broke and I am already going through withdrawals. I knew that I used mu iPod quite often, but never realized how much I used it until I didn’t have it anymore. After my next paycheck, I am planning on bringing it in the Apple Store to see if they can fix it. If not, I might try and buy a new one. So we shall see how that all pans out in the coming weeks.
Other than being busy with school, college life is treating me very well. In the past few weeks I have realized what and amazing school that I go to. I couldn’t have asked for better professors, roommates, friends, resident life staff, student life staff, office staff, and everything else that Providence has to offer. I have grown to love my Lord and Savior more and more as the days go by and learned the importance of being firmly grounded in all aspects of life.
As Calvary Reformed always says, “God is good, all the time. And all the time, God is good.”
