Getting back into the swing of things

So much has happened since the last time I wrote. As most of you know I went home for Thanksgiving break and brought home 2 of my friends from Iowa with me. We had a lot of fun hanging out my house and taking a day trip to San Francisco and then to the IKEA store.
After I got back to school we went straight to finals mode. It was an extremely stressful time. My days were filled with reading, writing papers, and studying. I took breaks to sleep and eat. And that was about it. The one major break that I took was on a Friday night. We had a girls night and Kels and I went and got our noses pierced. It had been something that I wanted to do for a long time and finally did it!
Christmas break was pretty fun too. I had a great time hanging out with family and friends. It was also really great to finally have a break from school work. I got a lot of rest.
AND NOW…it’s back to school! It feels so amazing to finally be back at school with my roommates and all my other wonderful friends. Don’t get me wrong, it was nice to be home, but just different. It felt pretty weird to be back in Ripon for 3 weeks. Although it’s nice to be back with all my friends, my classes kinda have me stressing. I am going to have my hands full with my classes. I am really excited about my education class. It is the first class that I am taking for my major and it is very exhilarating.
This semester we got a few new students. It has been really exciting to see their faces around campus and to start to get to know them. One of the best things about being back is being able to just go across the hall to my friends and not have to call them or talk to them online. I can talk to them face to face whenever I want. It has been nice to go back to my favorite Starbucks with fun people that work there. It was so fun to see Pat again, one of the workers that I have become good friends with.
Well that’s all I have for now. Love you all!
