It is so crazy to think that I am almost finished with my freshman year in college! I now only have 46 days left at Providence and I have very mixed feelings about it. I cannot wait to be able to come home for the summer and actually be able to hang out with my family and friends on a regular basis. On the other hand, after a few weeks at home I know that I am going to miss me PCC friends A LOT! May 3 is going to be a really hard day for me and the rest of campus. The hardest thing to think about is….that some of the amazing people that I have become very close to, aren’t going to be coming back next year. It is going to be so weird to have to say goodbye to all these wonderful people that have become family to me at my home away from home. Not only will I have to say goodbye to PCC, but I will have to leave my church, and other people that I have met outside of Providence and become close to over this past year. I have learned so much about myself this year. I feel like I am such a different person now. I am so content with my life and the way that it is headed. My faith has grown tremendously. I have made solid Christian friends that I know will be my friends for life.
Although summer is so close, there is still so much that has to be done before then. This next month and a half are going to be crazy! There are so many papers to write, tests to take, and books to read. Right now I am in the middle of writing a 12 page paper on alcoholism for my English class, a paper on The Prophets as well as reading through Jeremiah and then moving through Lamentations and Ezekiel In Bible class, working on my philosophy of education for my education class and writing a paper from my Macroeconomics class. As you can see, I am SUPER busy. There is a lot of stress involved, but I am trying hard to still enjoy the time that I have left here.
Spring break was so much fun. For those that don’t know I went to Lynden, Washington with my friend Megs and stayed with her family February 28-March 10. I have a great time getting to meet her family especially her niece Sydni! She is a little cutie. We went saw a bunch of different things and I just had a great time seeing a place that I had never been before. I have lots of pictures and I don’t think I could ever choose which ones to put on here so I will have to show them to you sometimes this summer.
